MIND YOUR BODY An intimate relationship exists between the mental process and physical state - mind and body being two parts of one whole, each being an integral part of the other. An awareness of the communication between the two can lead to a deeper understanding of ourselves and our own true nature - and from that point we can make positive choices that effect mental and physical condition. In other words, to a very large extent, we can make positive or negative choices about our physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. The more we can develop the art of 'listening' to the body and its subtle messages the more 'in tune' we can become with ourselves and the more 'at home' within ourselves which can lead to simple contentment. Through 'minding your body' tension can be released after which appropriate responses can be made in order to live more freely and happily 'in the moment' - not 'for' the moment - but 'in it'. All this can bring about a heightened sense of wellness that comes from inner stability and confidence.
